We went to the OC Fair! This is a yearly tradition for us since the kids were tiny, living in OC. We love going and the traditions we have there like going to the Butterfly Room, walking through the farm & gardens, looking at the livestock, and trying treats. We stopped at Baja Fish Tacos beforehand (DUH) for some lunch. This is the latest we've stayed at the Fair before and it's so pretty lit up at night. It's a whole different vibe! Caleb tried Dr. Pepper mixed with pickle juice and it was disgusting. Dad tried a fried Twinkie, Ethan had fried cookie dough and Asher had fried ice cream. Macie had a regular ice cream and most of us had giant corn dogs. It was a day with perfect weather too! We also managed to find 4 foot massagers together to get our classic picture with the kids each sitting on one. Just took us a while to find all 4 together ha! We love going to the Fair and glad we could fit it in this summer! I hope we continue this traditions as long as we can!

Dolphins Championship & Awards Night
We had our HOA Swim Team Championship. This season we not only won the championship, we were UNDEFEATED!
It was a great and exciting day. Dad and Ethan stayed for a little bit of it before leaving for a NASCAR race. So, the majority of the time it was Caleb, Asher, Macie & I. Asher had an incredible performance in the 200 Medley Relay which won us the entire relay earning us 6 points (we were expected to win 3rd in that relay). We were neck & neck with the other teams the entire meet but won the entire Championship by 6 points. The 6 points we got from the relay that SAVED us. It was incredible and he dominated!! Because of all this, he received Swimmer of the Week at Awards Night! He has improved so much this past season! He enjoyed being a Jr Coach and seeing the benefits from all his hard work doing Paseo Club swim in the off season. I'm so proud of how hard he's worked! He won us the championship!!
Caleb did a great job double legging half of the time for all his relays. It was either him or Jude double legging this whole season and they did great! He had a really special season with it being his last and hanging out with his best buds everyday. He also tied for high points for the 15/16 boys. He aged out this year & gave a very sweet & heartfelt speech. He did so well this season & of course I bawled watching him swim for the last time as a Dolphin during the Championship & during the end of season video that included his aging out tribute. I love/hate watching my kids grow up. He then jumped in the pool with all the other kids that aged out too. A tradition they all love.
