100th Day Celebration

Today (February 14th) was the 100th Day of School at Ethan's school and they had a mathematical ceremony for Zelda Zero and Zero the Hero. They also had a Valentine's Day party.

They asked Fred and I to be Zelda and Zero and we totally got it character and had a blast. Ethan kept looking at us intently and you could tell he knew we looked familiar but was confused. He didn't know it was us until he walked up to take pictures with his class and Fred said, "Hi, Ethan." Then Ethan's eyes got huge and he was so embarrassed. The other classes and little kids were looking at us like we were celebrities and would wave but be so shy. The little girls would just look at my dress with awe. It was adorable and even though I looked ridiculous, it was so fun and I felt like this princess.

We all danced after the ceremony and did pictures and had donuts afterward. When we got back to Ethan's class all the kids were like, 'You were Zelda!" and I just said, "I have no idea what you're talking about!" And they would say things like, "Ethan where's your dad? Where's your mom? Look they're over there!!" He was embarrassed but also loving all the attention that HIS parents were Zelda and Zero. It was so fun and I'm glad Fred went along with it all. He's a trooper... because I never asked him... just kinda volunteered him. haha
