Happy (almost) St. Patrick's Day! Ethan read a story in class about how to catch a leprechaun and wanted to make a trap at home. I told him he had to wait for Daddy to be home. Mostly, because he's just more fun and creative with the kids and all that kind of stuff. So, I thought it best be left to him. So, Fred and Ethan drew out plans and what they would need and should have.
They decided to make it rainbow colors and to have a shiny bottom to make it attract the little man since he loves all things rainbow and shiny like money. Then they put plastic wrap over the top to make it look like nothing is there and so the leprechaun will just hop in and then get stuck in the wrap. I thought it was very clever. It ended up being a family event to put it all together. It's fun having him in school and starting to be old enough for this kind of stuff. So now, we wait...
These were the plans...
