Blessed

Money has been tight. OC is not cheap. I belong to a Facebook Fun Group. It's mostly women from my stake and various wards. Some people aren't members at all. I'm so thankful for this site. People post freebies, things they are selling, giving away, what's going on that day, ask questions, etc etc. It's awesome.

 

Now, I have both a gift and curse. I have no shame in asking for things for free. I say it's both a blessing and curse because I'm pretty cheap, frugal and I'm not ashamed of it. My best friend tells me I'm cheap all the time. I don't care. But I am an embarassment to Fred at times. I have no shame. So, Ethan needed clothes and we didn't have the money for it. What did I do? Ask on the Fun Group page if anyone had size 6 boy clothes they were donating or could give away!

 

Low and behold, 2 people said they did and I got a bag full of clothes. One was from a girl in my ward. She ha 2 teenage girls and an 8 year old son. And they buy nice clothes...Volcom. Hurley, Billabong...stuff I could never buy. So, I open this bag and it's full of nice, expensive clothes!! I felt so blessed. I thanked her probably 100x.

 

My thought is, you never know until you ask. You can get so much if you just ask! I'm thankful I asked and was blessed abundantly. But, always, if you can, help others out like you have been helped out and I always help whenever I can. :)
