Ethan had two very wiggly teeth. They have been wiggly for a while and he refused to let me wiggle or pull them out. Then his big boy teeth started to come through behind his baby teeth and one night at dinner while we were eating corn on the cob, Fred and I finally said, no more. They had to come out. So, Fred wiggled them and wasn't doing much else. They got a lot looser but he just couldn't grip them to actually pull them out. That's when I stepped in. I got a good grip on one and BAM pulled it out. Ethan was crying during this whole process and then was freaked out because he saw blood. But after he saw his first tooth, you could tell he was excited about it... and about the tooth fairy coming! Then I got a good grip on tooth number two and BAM, it was out. His big boy teeth had already grown in a ton so it wasn't like there was a huge empty space.
That night, he got $10, $5 per tooth from the tooth fairy because it was his first time losing a tooth. He is over the moon and was so excited to show all his friends the next day. It's a little strange to see him without those little teeth anymore. Made me kinda sad. Those two were the first to come in and the first to go. I'll miss seeing that little baby Linky smile...
