Old and new to us!

I've been searching for what feels like forever for a new dresser for the boys room. They REALLY needed one. It was given to us when Ethan was a baby and since then it had a busted door, broken drawer and the top was thrashed. It was a sad looking thing.

I knew I wasn't going to be able to afford a brand spanking new one so I looked on Craigslist everyday, multiple times a day. I was either too late, it was too far away or the price was just too high or it wasn't big enough. I knew in my head that I was probably going to need to paint it (whatever we got) and I was totally fine with that.

The other day, after so much searching, I found it! I love it so so much. I do wish it was a wee bit bigger but that's okay. It fits what we need it to and it looks divine. It was $50 (score!) and the people were so nice and normal. Whew, what a relief. It fit in the car and it found it's new home that night.

This is the old one. It's in the garage because my friend wants it... It has a lot of potential and I do love it but I don't love it enough to fix everything on it.

The new one. It's vintage and has so much character. I love that it looks a little beaten up- in the right way. It fits a lot of clothing and it's the perfect color for what I want for their room.
Next jobs... painting the little table and bookshelf in their room....there is always something!
