Happy 5th Birthday, Caleb! (Part 1)

How can this be?! My Mr. Wooie is FIVE?! Oh, my heart just broke a little bit. It hurts. My sweet Caleb is getting to be so big. Too big too fast.

Caleb is such a sweet soul. He is so kind and loving. He loves to take care of his little brother. He loves to help mommy and he loves to snuggle. I've always had a really special bond with my Woo. I think he's more like me than Ethan or Asher are.

 

It seems like ages ago that Caleb was born. Honestly, it's a blur. But I do remember sweet little toddler Caleb. He is such a handsome boy. Here's a quick look at Caleb at 5 years old.

 

1. He LOVES puzzles. And he loves when I do puzzles with him.

2. He loves cheese.

3. He's a little sneak when it comes to food.

4. When he's tired, his lips puff up and get big like Fred's does when he's tired.

5. He's so tan and has darker skin than his brothers.

6. He falls asleep in the car a lot. Sometimes at home if it's quiet and he's so tired.

7. He is always warm. He and Fred always have warm bodies so he's extra fun to cuddle up to.

8. Loves to snuggle.

9. Says his own little phrases and words wrong but we don't correct him. I will never correct those. For example, "Where that you're going?" or "Lombstard" for Lobster, "Hangaburg" for hamburger, "bagsetball" for basketball. It's just too cute to correct. :)

10. He wants to do anything and everything that Ethan does.

11. Loves to help me cook.

12. Loves water and swimming.

13. Now sits in a big boy car seat.

14. Perfers wearing sandals than shoes.

15. Doesn't really know how to be quiet and whisper when he needs to. ;)

16. Asher only calls him Wooie which he responds to every time.

17. Mr. Woo, Wooie, Woosiff etc are all names he responds to, no matter who calls him that. He'll respond. It's used as much if not more than his actual name.

18. Never flushes the toilet and it's gross. He's had to spend lots of time out for that.

19. Doesn't like getting his teeth flossed and brushed. But doesn't do a well enough job to do it alone.

20. He's had a broken arm, extensive dental work, tonsils removed and now is going to have ear tubes in later this month.

 

He's a trooper and I love him with all my heart. He's my Woo.
