We had a great Halloween. It was fun and the kids had a great time. Fred came home early enough so we could eat in time for Trick or Treating. I made pumpkin stew, we had pumpkin pie and then apple cider. It was yummy and the kids loved that we ate from a pumpkin. I think I will do this every year. It was so fun. The house smelled amazing.
Just as we were finishing dinner, we started to get trick or treaters. So the boys quickly got dressed and Fred took them out. Asher came back after their 1st go around which is pretty typical. He gets too tired and it about done after a few houses. He watched some Nightmare Before Christmas while I passed out the candy. Then once the older boys were done, we separated their candy from what they can and can't have then the handed out the candy. Caleb loved doing that.
Ethan and Fred were TMNT's, Caleb was Peter Pan but some people thought he was Robin Hood and Asher was a Frankenstein again. I think the costume will be too small for next year but 2 years worth of a $3 costume is alright by me! I didn't dress up. Lame, I know. I did wear orange and black though!

So many people thought Christian was Robin Hood last year when he wore that costume. Ugh.
