Christmas Day

After we got home from everything, we put out all the presents I wrapped. Santa came and brought Asher a tool set, and the older boys got Minecraft Legos and Minecraft swords. They loved it all. Santa also ate our milk and cookies and left a note reminding us about what Christmas is really about. In the morning we read the scriptures and then went to open our gifts.

Caleb got me a super huge snuggly blankie, and Ethan made a wreath at school for me. Fred bought me jewelry with real crystals and it is so beautiful. I got him these headphones he really wanted and some nice slippers among other smaller things. My mom and dad bought me a dewing machine and restored old pictures of my grandma, great grandma and great great grandpa. They also gave us the face and hand mold of Abraham Lincoln.

Around 11:30am we headed out to breakfast. I love this tradition because it requires no cooking and I  have a clean kitchen for the day.

Later that night we went to Fred's Aunts house. It was nice to have Mary visit this year with her family. It was a crazy busy few days and always bittersweet when it's all over but we had a great Christmas.
