Class Parties

Ethan had a class party on the last day of school. His was themed 'Ancestor's Day'. They have been learning about ancestry and have done some projects focused on that. He made a Dutch doll and for Ancestor's Day they were to bring in a dish for everyone to try. We decided to do German Pancakes. It's my Great-Great Grandmother's recipe and so simply and yummy.

I don't think everyone knew you were to eat it with syrup but whatever. Out of all the food there (we had food from Italy, Vietnam, England, China, Japan, India etc) Ethan and Asher mostly wanted and ate my German Pancakes which was quite alright with me.

Caleb's party had a craft, cookie making, Bingo and a Hanukkah game. Asher got to decorate a cookie and won an award for it too. He doesn't look happy in the picture but he really was excited about it. Then he got to listen to How the Grinch Stole Christmas story. Caleb's teachers are so nice to include him.
