We love any holiday around here including St. Patrick's Day. I am part Irish and it's fun to celebrate anyway. Our Leprechaun, Lucky was so sneaky! He made our milk green, peed green in our toilet, left trails everywhere and left us candy, Lucky Charms, cupcakes and golden shamrocks that grow at the end of the rainbow. The boys left notes out for him saying they wanted some really gold coins and how much they loved him. Caleb also left him some green socks but they didn't fit Lucky. Later on, Asher and I went to story time and made a leprechaun craft and got a cupcake, then played at the park. We all wore green, of course, and at the end of the day, enjoyed a nice traditional Irish meal of Irish Soda Bread, corned beef and cabbage.
Asher ready for church with his St. Patrick's Day bow tie.
Our trap. The idea is that he will climb up to smell the flower
but get thrown off and trapped in the cup.
"Lucky, I want a real gold coin and I think you are the best leprechaun in the world. Signed, Caleb"
