It's been officially 10 years since I met Fred. His birthday was during the kids' Spring Break so we were able to surprise him at his work lunch that was being hosted for him. The CEO, CFO, and other big executives were there so that was a little intimidating. The kids behaved though and we all had fun. It was about 15 people total. We walked Fred back to his office and when we got there, they had decorated it for his birthday. They brought out a cake and sang too. He was very surprised. And I'm glad we were all about to come.
That night we had his birthday dinner choice of meat patties with tomato sauce, cheesy mashed potatoes, and green beans. I also made a peach cobbler. His present hadn't arrived yet so he didn't have anything to open until the next day. The kids and I decorated the house too. The next day he opened his 3 new shirts and cufflinks. He liked the cufflinks a lot but wasn't too thrilled about getting shirts. But I already knew that. But I had to get him the shirts in order for him to have cufflinks. Haha! That weekend, the kids stayed at my parents and Fred and I went to the Getty and Tito's Tacos. Overall, I think he had a great birthday!
