We just got back from camping at Lake Cachuma with some of Fred's family. His sister, Julie and her family came as well as Fred's parents. It was a total of 11 people but only a quarter of his total family. We went for 4 days. The boys were in heaven having their cousins there. We went swimming, played games, ate smores, went to Solvang, went fishing, relaxed and had tons of food. We each took a day to be in charge of food. Ethan caught his first fish that was just a little guy and Asher caught his first too but it was HUGE! Caleb didn't get anything this time around.
I've learned that when we go camping, we always need to go with other people. It's more enjoyable for everyone. Everyone was talking about beach camping next year. Since I will have a baby, I will not be taking the baby camping until it is at least 4. So maybe baby and I will come for a day and Fred can take the other boys the rest of the time. We'll see but it was super fun. It was also very tiring because I had just gotten finished doing Cub Scout camp but other than that, it was fun. It felt SO good to be home and shower though. Ahhh!!! Now to keep working on the mountains of filthy clothes I have to wash!
