Wisconsin Visit

For my birthday Emily bought me a round trip to go visit her in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. I flew out on a Friday and came home the following Thursday. It was such a fun trip. I flew by myself for the first time since I was a little girl. I was a little nervous to navigate myself being pregnant and alone but I did just fine. The flight is about 4 hours and 20 mins. Getting there took longer since my plane stopped in Vegas. I didn't get off but had to wait for people to get off the plane and then board new people. It took about 5 hours to get there. I read and tried to sleep. Somehow I got through it and didn't feel sick once. 

We did lots of things while I was there. We went to go see "Move, Live on Tour!" at an old theatre in Milwaukee. It was a dancing show with some singing. Super fun. We also went to Bookworm Gardens. It depicts famous books and it was really adorable. We mostly went for her kids but I really enjoyed it too. The boys would have loved it. Emily and I had a day at downtown Cedarburg (her town she lives in) and went window shopping and ate lunch. That was a really fun day. We visited downtown Milwaukee, caught fireflies, had a movie night and went swimming. I missed my family but had a really great time. I loved how old everything was and how green it is everywhere!

I love that even though we hadn't seen each other in over 6 months, it was like we were never apart. We talk almost everyday anyway. It was sad to say goodbye but she will be here to visit her family next week so I'll at least get to see her for a day in about a week or so. There is also texting, FaceTime and calling. And we talk a lot. I love her and am so grateful she's my best friend.
