Asher Starts Preschool

Today, Sept 8, 2015, Asher started his first day at preschool. Fred and I could tell he was a little nervous. He wanted me to pack his own snack (1/2 a PB & J and grapes) and also his grblankie (green blankie). He said he didn't take his grblankie out of his backpack. Guess he just needed to know it was there if he needed it. Today he came home with his name traced with glue and covered with glitter that he said Mrs. Susan helped him with. He picked out his own outfit (wouldn't wear the one I picked for him, naturally) and picked out his backpack from the store. He still loves Olaf and I was happy to buy it since it was only $3!

He said he didn't have a good day but as the day went on he told me he tricked me and really did have a good day. This kid kills me. I just say things like, "Oh, okay. That's good." He enjoyed telling his brothers about his day at dinnertime too. He felt like one of the big boys.

While Asher was gone I registered at the hospital for baby girl, grocery shopping and got my toes done. It was weird and relaxing. I know this will only last a few months and then I'll have another at home so I'm trying to enjoy this time while I have it. I can't believe Asher will start Kindergarten next year and will be 5 before I know it! I'm happy he's enjoying himself at preschool. He's such a funny, wild and opinionated little but I love him so so much. He is my little buddy.
