Ethan won the Coyote with Character for the month of September. The character trait he was recognize for was Responsibility. Last year he won this award for the exact same trait. This year, however, his class had to vote for who they thought should receive this award and he won. I received an email from his teacher about what the children had said and it was so sweet. We are so proud of him and the great scholar he is!
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Everts,
I am pleased to inform you that Ethan was selected as our Coyote with
Character for the month of September. The trait was responsibility.
Ethan is a self-motivated scholar who displays the trait of responsibility in
every aspect of school. He completes all his homework and school work to
the best of his ability and demonstrates good citizenship as he is responsible
for his actions throughout the school day.
Here are a few of the comments the students wrote about him:
“I vote for Ethan because he always remembers his homework.
Also, in handball, he says he’s out when he is out. That is why I vote for Ethan.”
“I think Ethan is worthy of the award because he never forgets his homework,
and he gets all of the work done on time.”
Ethan truly deserves recognition for this positive trait. He will receive the Coyote
with Character award Wednesday, October 7 at the flag assembly.
Sincerely,
LuAnn Lane
