My parents and sisters family was all sick so Christmas Eve day we went to my brother's house to visit with them and exchange gifts. After we were suppose to see the new Star Wars movie but it was sold out so we decided to visit Gary and Kathy instead. They gave the boys games so they played them while we visited. After we went to Julie's for Christmas Eve. We ate, played games, played music and had a great time. We got home at 12:30am- we were so tired. Then the next morning the kids woke us up at 6am. We were done with Christmas by 9am and went to breakfast and finished that in 40 mins tops. We all inhaled our food. I don't think we've ever been done with Christmas morning so quickly.
Santa brought the kids a trampoline and the main gift we got the boys were Nintendo DS's. They love them. They got Legos, movies and other toys and games too but the DS's are their favorites plus the trampoline. Fred was able to set it up by himself the next day. Christmas evening we went to Sue's. We didn't stay too long since Fred and I were so tired but we had a great time and everyone enjoyed meeting Macie. Aunt Kelly loved snuggling her. Macie slept through practically all of Christmas. Santa gave her a play mat with toys. She isn't too interested in it yet. It all came and went too quickly like it always does. We weren't able to do all the things we normally do because of having a newborn but it's totally okay. We got the greatest gift we could have ever asked for this year. I always wish I could freeze time and hold onto certain moments forever.
