This last week Fred had to go to Texas and so my dad came for the week to help me with the kids. He was a really big help especially taking the boys to and from school. The boys loved having him here. It isn't the best company accommodations here in this small house but I was still very grateful for his help. My dad is a really quiet guy and keeps to himself so having him come and spending so much time with him was actually really nice. I got to know him more than I have in a long long time. We had ice cream at night, watched some TV and cooked together. We were all sad when he had to go back home.
