I'm a little ashamed to admit that it took us over a year to read this book. We started right when I found out when I was pregnant and it became really hard to read it aloud because I was so out of breath and tired. Then it kept getting worse, then we actually had Macie etc etc so this got pushed back by a lot. I finally told Fred that I just don't have the time to sit and read it aloud with him because it would take SO long to do so. So, we got the book on audio from the library and he read about 10 chapters in less than 2 days! He was so excited to finally finish and watch the movie!
It's so exciting to see him read from my old books. And the fact that he loves Harry Potter makes me so happy since I love it so much. He loved the movie and is excited to start the 3rd. We're on the waiting list for the library so hopefully we can get it soon! The goal is to read #3 by the end of summer so he can go take a reading counts quiz on it for school when it starts back up. I hope he always stays interested in these books. They are such a big part of my life so to share this with him, is really special.
