Every year since moving to OC, we have gone to Tanaka Farms to pick pumpkins. Most everything costs money, even to get in, but it's a more actual farm experience than some of the other pumpkin places. We always do the corn maze and this year some nice lady gave us two stickers for 2 people to get into the petting zoo. Ethan won the number challenge to pick which boy got to go so Macie, Ethan and I want to the petting zoo.
Since it was so hot and we forgot waters, we got some strawberry lemonade and after the maze and petting zoo, we took pictures and picked our pumpkins. I know its cheaper to just get them at the grocery store but it's really fun for the boys to pick them out on the farm more than the grocery store.
It was a fun day. The boys got haircuts before we went since they were looking so shaggy and homeless with their long hair. I also dressed Macie in a Halloween onesie that said, "My First Halloween" but then she spit up all over it. Overall, fun day and now their pumpkins are adorning the front porch!
