One day after school, I took Asher and Macie to Panera Bread for lunch. Asher's lower tooth has been wiggly for a while and he even mentioned how wiggly it was that morning. He got an apple with his meal but asked for me to cut it up. After I did, he said he wouldn't be able to eat it since his tooth was wiggly. I told him to just use his back teeth to chew and bite the apple.
He took the first bite of the apple and said, "Ouch!" I asked if his tooth came out and it did! He started to cry and said, "But I need it!" There was a bit of blood and luckily he didn't swallow his tooth! He had to dig it out but eventually we got it. He cried for a little while and said it hurt. It was kinda a shocking experience for him. After he asked for a bag from the cashier and we went in the car to pick up the older boys. He held his mouth open the whole time and even drooled a bit. He was so sad but eventually got excited to show his brothers and especially to get money from the tooth fairy!
He got $5 from the tooth fairy for loosing his first tooth ever! It was such a funny thing for him to loose his first tooth in Panera Bread! I told him how I lost a tooth eating an apple once but actually swallowed it! He liked that I lost a tooth from an apple too.
It makes me a little sad seeing this things happen because that means these boys are growing up. But at the same time, it's fun to watch them learn, grow and go through new things. My Boo is growing up!!
