Ethan went to the Ocean Institute in Dana Point for his 5th Grade Field Trip. He measured the water levels in the harbor by mixing different chemicals, he dissected a fish, went a few miles out of the harbor to collect from the bottom of the ocean and examined it, looked at zooplankton and bio plankton under the microscope and so much more! While we sailed, we saw sea lions and seals! It was a gorgeous day too. I'm so glad I was picked to go on the field trip and Fred was able to work it out for me to go! It's super important to me to try and do the things I can do with his help. I'm so happy I could come and it was really such a cool place!
