Fred and I were invited to Katie Zabinksi's wedding. I met her 13 years ago at Sunshine Day Camp when we both worked there. We instantly became friends and when I got married, she was my bridesmaid when Fred and I got married. We've kept in touch since and then got an invitation to her wedding. We didn't want to get a babysitter since it was in Santa Monica and would be an all day event. Also, the kids missed soccer the previous weekend so Fred stayed home to do soccer while I went to the wedding. First off, I will never go to a wedding by myself ever again. I knew NO ONE! It was such a drag going alone and sitting pretty much by myself. Katie looked beautiful and it was great to see her but it was a long day because it was far and I was alone. Anyway, I'm so happy for her and that she included me in her special day.
