I bought a new (to us...it was used) bed and dresser for Macie. Since she's too young for a proper bed, Asher is using it. Plus, he was still using a toddler bed which totally needed to go. He still fit in it but he was long overdue for a big boy bed. I got him new bedding and switched out everything. I took the closet doors down, took down his dresser and put it to the curb (literally), Moved the changing table in the closet area, took down the toddler bed, put up his new bed and then put the new dresser in. Not to mention, I did this all by myself.
I love how it turned out. And I couldn't wait to show Asher when he got home. He loved it! He was nervous to sleep in such a big bed but now he loves it! It's so nice to walk in there and feel like it's a more of a proper room. It's still a woodland theme which works for both of them and it's so cute!
As long as we live in a 3 bedroom, we'll just have to make it work so for now, this will totally work.
