Goodbye 2017!

2017 was a great year for our family. We went to San Francisco, Hawaii and Palm Desert. The boys did great in school, all the kids grew taller and are healthy. I lost about 25 lbs, I made hard and braver decision, I cut people from my life who were negative and toxic and every holiday was fun and memorable. I grew emotionally, spiritually and physically. I made it a point to read and study more and were successful in both. I achieved a lot of goals which is an amazing feeling. Overall, it was such a great year because I made it great. My attitude, determination and positive thinking made it that way. I learned to take care of myself, make myself a priority and do what I need to do to be a better person, wife and mom.

I also learned that 'New Years' is fun but you can start and stop any goals, changes etc you want to anytime. It doesn't have to be New Years. I decided to lose weight in August. Just made the choice and started. So, while I like New Years, it doesn't hold to the same value to me anymore. I know I have the will and power to start, stop and change anything I want to at any time.

I'm so thankful for what I've learned and gained this past year. It's one I will never forget. But with that being said, I'm excited for what the future will bring.

For New Years Eve, we ordered Chinese food, played Labyrinth, watched TV and just hung out. Ethan is the only one that lasted. I woke Fred up for the midnight ring and at 12:05am we were in bed, asleep. We're such party animals!
