This picture of Macie was the first day she was showing signs of being sick. Little did I know that I would get sick the following day and it was last for 2 MISERABLE weeks. After a weekend of just feeling horrible, I went to the doctors and found out I had/have the flu and a sinus infection. We had to cancel our Vegas trip and I was in bed for about 2 straight weeks. I have never been so sick. It was so horrible. I finished my antibiotics and am now at the stage of mucus draining and so I'm constantly coughing and blowing mucus out of my nose. I can't wait to feel normal again. I feel like I've been sick for forever. Macie got over her sickness relativity quickly but she's still coughing. All the boys have low grade fevers and feel a little crummy but I for sure was sick the most. Last night, I asked for a blessing from Fred. I feel like today is the first day I feel a little normal. I know blessings work and I trust in the one he gave me. I hope I continue to feel a little bit better each passing day. My friend watched Macie while I went to the doctors and later that evening brought dinner and took Ethan to scouts. I really needed that. It's been really hard to not have any family nearby to rely on and help so I was so grateful she helped. This whole experience has made me miss being closer to my family. I wish it wasn't so far.
