For Christmas, the kids (and Fred) got Disneyland tickets! We realized we hadn't used them yet and needed to fast before Spring Break and the summer months. Plus, it had already been 2 months since Christmas! It worked out that we went on March 4th (Asher's 7th birthday) and March 5th. Asher was totally cool with going to CA Adventure on his actual birthday which was great. We had a lot of fun. Going for 2 days straight was really tiring but it was nice that we didn't stay till closing both nights and the drive home was short. We took the kids out of school on Monday in hopes to avoid crowds at Disneyland but it made no difference. It was still SO busy. Fast Pass was a lifesaver! Asher was tall enough for all the big rides and did them all with such excitement! He was so brave. Everyone loved Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm so proud of Caleb too because he was a bit scared to do all the big rides but still did them. It was a little challenging with Macie since she's so little but we made it work. Ethan traded some pins and lucked out getting 2 pins he needed for his 'ticket' collection.
It was a bit hard going back to real life after a really fun, long weekend but we managed. I loved spending time with everyone and love being with my Hoonie. I realized this was the first time our whole family has gone to Disneyland since Macie was born which was really special.
