I came to Asher's classroom to read his class a story for Reading Day. He wanted me to read The Napping House. He got to sit up front with me while I read. He was so happy to have me there even though this picture doesn't show it. He's into not smiling for pictures these days. So, I just made a silly face. After it was our turn, then it was time for other parents to read and I stayed for a bit and cuddled with him while we listened to stories. I love 1st grade and all the stuff they do and this is definitely a favorite even though it's just for a short time.
