I always want to remember things like this. Fred had been gone for a little over 2 days. The first ting the next morning, he went outside with the kids and wrestled with them on the trampoline. I knew he was tired and would have loved to relax inside but he also knew the kids really missed him and wanted to play. He hadn't even eaten breakfast. He loves being a dad and I love him for that.
The squirt gun fight happened after he got home from work. He immediately went outside to play with them and use the squirt guns he brought home with him.
He is the favorite parent around here and that is totally ok with me. He is my favorite person in the whole world and you can just tell everyone is so much happier when he's around. I immediately feel at ease and a calming in my soul when he gets home. He is the glue that holds us all together.
I hope he knows how much we love and need him. He is the best dad and my best friend.
