Here's a break down of what Macie is like as a 3 year old:
-She is fully potty trained and it took a week to accomplish. She stays dry at night and has very few accidents. She is 100% in underwear.
-Her favorite color is pink. She has discovered all things shiny, pretty, girly, sparkly and pink.
-She has a new love of mermaids so Ariel is a new favorite lately.
-She likes to sleep without socks and without anything in her hair.
-She calls her brothers different names. Ethan is Effie, Caleb used to be KB but now she calls him Caleb (which makes us sad) and Asher she calls Brother. She rarely calls him anything else which we think is so cute.
-Her favorite food is Rack-a-Moonie which is Macaroni and Cheese. For the longest time we couldn't figure out what she was trying to say but then we figured it out and she was so happy. You could tell she was very frustrated because we had no idea what she was talking about! Her other favorite foods are: berries, cucumbers, salad, soo snacks (fruit snacks) and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
-She loves to watch a show called True. It's kinda like Dora The Explorer. She also loves to watch all the Toy Story movies, Zootopia and Monsters Inc. She recently has ventured into princess movies and learning about all things girly.
-She loves going to Mickey (Disneyland).
-She loves her cousins Charlie and Ryker (who she sees at Disneyland a lot) and wishes she could play more with them.
-Ethan (and sometimes Caleb) babysits her and she does great with them. She listens and is totally okay when Mommy leaves for a little.
-She is obsessed with her pink blanket and puppy who's named Puppy.
-She doesn't like when Daddy gives any attention, affection or love to me. She has to come in the middle or do something to get his attention. It's hilarious.
-She is obsessed with her Daddy and always wants to be with him when he's home.
-She has the biggest blue eyes ever.
-She can be found saying: "Stop teasing me!" a lot. Especially to Asher.
-If you tell her no when she's wanting something, she will say, "No, you're not listening to me!"
-She is so sassy and when she's in a sassy mood we'll say that we're on Sasswatch. She hates it.
-If she doesn't want to do something (like pick up toys, do a chore etc) she'll say it's because she's too big or because it's too dangerous.
-She wants to jump on the trampoline when brothers do but cries if they jump her too high.
-She loves Buttercup and is always trying to ride her and play with her.
-She loves to sleep in the dog beds around the house. She'll sometimes get up in the middle of the night and go lay in them for the rest of the night.
-She will sometimes take a 2 hour nap but if she does, she has a hard time going to sleep at night.
-She doesn't like going to bed without Asher in her room (since they share a room).
-She loves to take baths with anyone who will let her in. She makes a huge mess with the water and soap too.
-Her favorite toys right now are play makeup, Barbies, her puppy with the vet kit and her tea party set. She always wants to play with kitchen items and 'cook'.
-She wants to cuddle but then is so wiggly.
-She loves to take the paper wrappers off crayons and draw on herself with markers.
-She wants to do everything her brothers do.
-Some of her nicknames that we still call her: Chino, Cheen, Cheenie, Chino Hills, Choanie, Sissy, Mace, Moo Moo, Mace Millie, Mace Mills.
We love love love our Macie. She lights up all of our lives and is a breath of fresh air amongst all the boys in our home. She is girly, feminine, and kind hearted but also sassy, strong, and opinionated. Having 3 boys has made her confident. We tell her all the time that she is beautiful, strong, smart and brave and she will tell others that she is all of those things. We are so happy she came to our family and we couldn't have asked for a better baby girl.
