I was able to attend Ethan's field trip for Orchestra for Newhart. It was pretty cool to go and see his friends, see the band and watch him interact with his new environment. The band was cool but focused only on certain instruments. I went on the bus with them all which was very loud but thats normal. After, we went to the mall so the kids could eat at the food court before heading back. Ethan introduced me to his friend Leon who he sat with on the bus. He asked him to a few days before which made me very proud. I've been encouraging him to go out of his comfort zone and find new friends. He now eats lunch with Leon and other orchestra kids and their friends. I'm glad he wanted me to attend the field trip with him. I love being able to do stuff like this. I know I couldn't if I had job so I'm really thankful. He's loving orchestra too which is great!
