The night before Valentine's Day, Fred took the boys to Target to 'run a few errands'. The next morning, the boys came up to Macie and asked her if she'd be their Valentine's and presented her with some gifts. It was the cutest thing.
Ethan gave her a stuffed unicorn, Caleb gave her a rainbow necklace and bracelet and Asher gave her a purse that says Be Mine. She loved them all! I'm so happy that Fred is teaching our boys how to take care of their little sister. The boys also got me some gifts! I got a nice flower arrangement from Ethan, some chocolates from Caleb and a bracelet from Asher. Fred had Edible Arrangements delivered to me too later that day.
The day before Valentine's Day, I took Asher and Caleb shopping at Walmart for their class Valentine's. Caleb bought a box of chocolates in a heart shaped box with his own money and said it was for a girl at school. He wouldn't tell me who specifically. It was $10! So, the next morning when they were giving Macie and I our gifts, Caleb surprised me with the box of chocolates and said it was for me all along!! I couldn't believe it! It was so sweet of him! I made Fred a 1/2 size poster board card that was filled with things that reminded me of him. I also have him a little bundt cake.
I'm so blessed to have such a loving husband and kids. I was totally surprised by Caleb's gift and taken back by his generosity. I loved all my gifts and Macie did too. We certainly felt loved!
It was a good Valentine's Day.
