Since Ethan started cello, he has been doing whats called Music Mentors. It's a free tutoring program offered through the school district. He meets with a high school student for 90 minutes every Thursday. Everyone just volunteers their time to better one another. It's been a huge help for Ethan for his cello playing. For their last day, they did a showcase. Each student who was there to get mentored got to partner up with their mentor and play a short number. Ethan and his mentor were by far the best pair. I was really blown away. Ethan's really grown to love cello and I hope he continues playing. He started this program in September and just finished in May. They got the biggest applause by far! Great job, Ethan!! We're so proud of you!
