Halloween looked a lot different this year but honestly, it was still very fun! During the day we carved pumpkins and watched some Halloween themed shows and movies. That evening, we had a set up at the end of the driveway so everyone who was trick or treating could get candy and still keep their distance from us. Macie, Asher and Ethan dress up and we had pizza out front while we enjoyed a warm fire. Our neighbors set up a movie a little later on in the night and we watched from our driveway. I took the older boys on a quick bike ride around the neighborhood to see the houses too. The day after Halloween, we had a king size candy bar hunt in the house. The kids got plenty of candy despite not trick or treating. Covid hasn't been easy or fun but we're learning how to still do fun things safely and Halloween certainly was fun! It was kinda nice to be all together too because usually the older boys do their own thing.
