Mid year, we found out the Imagine Dragons was going to be playing at the Hollywood Bowl. The kids kept talking about it and how much they wanted to go see them. Everyone in our family loves them which is rare for all of us to like a band as much as we like them. We told them we could go see them but it would have to count as part of their Christmas gift and everyone would have to vote and be on board. After discussing it, everyone agreed that they wanted the concert to be counted towards part of their Christmas gifts. So, the tickets were purchased mid year. The day finally came and we were able to go see them on their closing night.
It was an incredible concert and everyone loved it. We all sang along, they had fireworks, lights and had the LA Film Orchestra play with them since it was their last show at the Bowl. That was a incredible surprise! Macie stayed awake the whole time and watching everyone have a fun time together was everything. The kids haven't been to many concert but they did say it's the best one they've been to. I love making memories like this with my family.
Another fun surprise was running into our neighbors, The Martin's, as they got off the bus and then learning they were seating near us!
