Old Orchard I vs Summit Seals

We had our second swim meet of the season against the Summit Seals. Out of all the teams we race against, the Seals are my favorite. They have some really strong swimmers so it's always really fun close races but also because we have friends on the Seals! Macie was very excited to race against Veda. All the kids did so well. Macie won 1st back in her backstroke and butterfly which was amazing. Caleb won 2nd many times by just a hair. All his races were so close, it was so intense. Asher went up against kids who were 15 but their birthday made the cutoff which doesn't seem fair but oh well. He came in 3rd for his IM and shaved 15 seconds off his time!! It was awesome to watch!! He has such great strokes and dives. All the kids are doing so well. These meets are very long days but what great core memories they're making!
