It was a bittersweet day. They were growing up and that was exciting but I just couldn't believe it was all already over! Ethan will now be a first grader and Caleb will go to Kindergarten. Seems so weird and it's going by too fast. Caleb was adorable with his little friends and Ethan was so excited for summer!
It was windy that day and their hats wouldn't stay on so they had to hold them.

Hooray, we're done!!
Joy School was a huge blessing for Caleb this year. He grew a lot, was able to socialize with friends, do crafts, learn and just have fun. He loved all the friends he made. Everyone will go to different schools so we're really going to miss them all. Ashelyn, Iryland, Sadie, Ethan, Will, & Mia we're so fun. I'm especially grateful for Ethan's mom, Melissa. She was the coordinator for every field trip, activity, graduation etc. If we find a good group and enough kids, I will be doing this for Asher as well. YAY JOY SCHOOL!! And after much deliberation, I've decided to put Caleb in Kindergarten this fall. I still have my reservations and hope he keeps up but if need be, he can redo Kindergarten again. I just think even though Joy School was fun, he's ready for something a little more challenging. I think it's just the worry wart mommy in me that is a little nervous about Kindergarten.
Ethan has literally grown so much this year! He's so much taller, looks older and has learned so much. He got an excellent report card and really loves math. He did the best in that area but I'm not surprised. He's doing well in reading and did so well in Kindergarten. He and I loved his teacher, Mrs. Werthmuller. She is awesome and am so happy she will be Caleb's teacher for Kindergarten as well. That gives me great comfort. He's made lots of friends and even started to be faced with some friend drama of being left out. While it broke my heart, he learned to take care of it, learned what it meant to be a true friend and is just learning about the world around him. I'm excited how he'll do in first grade and how his reading, writing and math will improve even more! Being room mom was fun but also time consuming. I learned a lot doing that. Also, even though it took a while everyday and was sometimes tedious, I'm glad that I cleaned up the classroom. I was able to visit with his teacher everyday, really get to know her and always knew where Ethan was at with everything.
His last day was fun and basically just a party!

All done! Walking out as a FIRST GRADER!!!
After school we celebrated and went to Ruby's Diner and a car show. I told my dad about it and he was proud. I used to go with him to car shows all the time growing up so it was nostalgic for me.
