Christmas Sunday

We dolled up for the Sunday before Christmas. It's one of my favorite Sundays of the whole year. Our organist and renowned and is absolutely brilliant on the organ. He plays bells, chimes, does fancy things with each verse of a song. It's honestly my favorite part of the meeting. There are some songs he plays that I can't even sing to because I find myself crying with how beautiful it sounds. I can't praise him and his talent enough. This Sunday was no exception. It made me feel the spirit and feel of the beauty and majesty of the Saviors birth. I think his playing is a tender mercy in my life because thats how I connect most with the spirit and how I feel of my Saviors love. It just moves me. Anyway, I loved this Sunday and all the excitement it brought.

In Primary we had a little skit done of how the song 'Silent Night' came to be. It was so beautiful and we had a man come in and play the song how it was first played years and years ago. We dimmed the lights, had one shining star up above and he played it on the guitar. I cried of course. I just cry a lot. About anything. But this was really beautiful especially because these children were so reverent and attentive and respectful. I was glad they were getting what Christmas was really about and remembering the Savior. It was a beautiful moment. They don't happen too often in Primary.
