This Valentine's Day was actually celebrated on the 13th. It was fun! My friend from our ward had 4 tickets to a Orchestra symphony/concert featuring Matthew Morrison from the TV show Glee. He's been on broadway and other things as well. We invited Fred's parents to come and spend the evening with us. We went out to dinner at the South Coast Plaza's at this swanky place then walked across to the performing arts center where the concert was being held.
Can I just say, holy crap, I LOVE where we live. Orange County is amazing. There are so many places so close to us. It's never boring. I really love it here and never want to move. Anyway...moving on... it was a late night but really nice. I actually liked the orchestra better than Matthew Morrison. He was good but no big headliner. He had to start a song over because he forgot the words, you could tell he was tired and out of breath but overall a nice show.
Fred and I decided not to do gifts since we were doing the whole going out on a date thing. But, the sneaky, romantic, and full of surprises man that I married, bought me something. I really do love him. He is so sweet, thoughtful and loving.
My note with the chocolate covered strawberries. BTW, I've lost 7 lbs! But you better believe I ate all 6 of those berries. YUM!
My valentine.
On actual Valentine's Day, there was no school and the boys were invited to a 'Valentine's Day Party'. It was so hard to stay good...there was so much yummy food and chocolate covered strawberries, cupcakes etc etc. I wanted to die.
I love all 4 of my Valentines!
