Fitness and Couponing

I've gotten back into couponing again. It took me a while to learn to balance everything along with gym time everyday, food maintaining AND couponing but I think I'm good now.

I've been really pleased with my hauls as of late. Last night I bought juice boxes, toothbrushes, hand soap and a ton of expensive hair products and walked out with Von's actually giving ME money!! Not only did I pay $0, I got money from them!! I was so happy!!

Then I got about 2 years worth of cleaning products from Target for $16 and saved over $100. Also, I saved over $120 at Ralph's the other day and paid about $20. I love this way of living. My grocery bill budget is $450 and people are astonished that it's that low with a family of 5. It IS possible. I don't understand why more people don't coupon. IT IS WORTH IT! I'm just so thankful that I have a friend who does it with me and we shop together and help each other out with deals, coupons etc. It's such a blessing and I'm so thankful for her!

Contrary to what people think, I have a pretty healthy stockpile. I don't buy just 'junk'. I use coupons on items I will actually use and not just because I have a coupon. And with Fred and I watching what we eat and trying to be better, and healthier, I'm still able to get great food at a super low price.

About our fitness, as of late, I'm now 119 lbs and Fred is 169lbs. He's lost about 22 lbs and I've lost 11lbs. These last few pounds are proving hard to come off but I'm not giving up even though I have days where I veg out a bit, within reason. It's a journey but we are in it together.
