We are doing swim lessons... again. Last year Ethan and Caleb took them from someone I know in a nieghboring ward. I wasn't too thrilled with how she did it but Ethan managed to learn how to swim from her. Caleb, on the other hand, needed a lot more practice and wasn't ready. I let it go for the rest of the summer and just thought to myself that we would try again next year.
I got a recommendation from a friend about this lady who was fabulous. I called her and she said she would do both Caleb and Asher for $200 for (8) 30 min swim lessons. Today was day 1. Asher didn't want to do it and was trying to get out of the pool but she was stern and loving and was very straight forward with a 'no, this is what were doing now' mentality which is what they need. She's a no fool around kinda gal and was so kind and direct. Asher put his face in the water, did his kicks and they both did great. I'm hoping after this, we are going to be DONE with swim lessons for good. I should have just gone to her last year!
