Castille Elementary offers a great program for kids. It's called Marathon Club. Over a few months the kids meet 2 days after school and run a mile and a half. They will do running games, relays, etc. The last mile they run at Legoland's Marathon Mile. After that, they have run a full marathon... 26.2 miles! So, this past Saturday was the big day at Legoland. I ran it with Asher with his age group separately. Since they do the Legoland Marathon Mile they get to go to Legoland for free and adults are 50% off. I got a free ticket from a friend so it was a total of $50 for us to go which was awesome. Except Legoland is so stupid. It's so boring and lame. The kids seem amused by it but it's nothing special and not a lot for us to do as a family. Ethan isn't tall enough to ride alone and Asher is to little to ride so it makes it difficult. Despite all that, we had a fun day (the aquarium was the best part!) and we are so proud of the boys. At school the next week, they were recognized with another medal. They worked hard and deserve it! Way to go boys!
