Our front yard looked horrible. I tried to do rocks and keep it very simple since our landlord doesn't do anything with the dirt patched but it still looked horrible. So, I went to Home Depot, got some drought resistant plants, some lights, some concrete edging (fake rock was snail were already there) and went to work. I had to dig up over 5 pounds of little rocks. It was horrible. I will never again do rock patches. OMG. My body ached for days after I did all this. I think it looks 100% better than before. I've been doing my best to water them a lot even though eventually they won't need so much later but they are new plants and I do not want them to die. I have even prayed they wouldn't die. The flower I got from the school for volunteering. The flag hanging I made from the dollar store section at Target. I cut up the bandanas and tied them to the top. It looks whatever- I'm not in love with it- but it'll do. It was only 4 dollars total to make so whatever. I'm just happy that our yard looks so much better. It's so much more presentable.
