This 4th of July we started out at church with a pancake breakfast and a flag ceremony. Ethan read about the flag with his troop. We also folded flags to send to solider who are currently serving. It was nice to do something so patriotic and give to our servicemen. I learned how to fold the flag correctly which was cool. Then went to Ammon and Julie's house. They just redid their pool. We swam, ate way too much then watched fireworks. Our day turned a little somber because Asher fell in the pool while the adults were inside. Luckily, a neighbor friend, Dani, who we know and is around a lot was outside and dived in to save him. He came out crying but was ok. Her phone was in her pocket though so it was ruined. We paid to have it replaced. I am SO thankful she was out there to save him. It was scary. Afterward, we kinda just wanted to all go home. We didn't stay to watch fireworks too long. Besides, since we're in a drought, there weren't a lot to see. My mom and sister also stopped by with Charlotte. My dad and brother in law were working that day.
