Caleb started complaining about not being able to see in glass about 3 months ago. I made an appt. but then had to cancel due to other things. Eventually he was saying his head was hurting after school and still complaining about not being able to see. So, finally when our schedule was a little clearer, I was able to make an appt. and the optometrist said he could really benefit from them and needed them especially if he was complaining that much about it and getting headaches. At first she said he could go a little longer without and see if his eyes correct themselves but once she tested his eyes with what would be his prescription, she noticed how badly he really does need them. He read the letters so quickly after she changed the lenses than before when 75% of the letters were wrong.
So, he picked out his own pair and since then was SO excited about getting them. He choose some blue ones and has been asking everyday if they are ready. Today they were finally ready and so we went to get them. FINALLY! Ethan and Asher were a little jealous and wanted glasses too. But I think they're now over it. I think Caleb has always been so handsome and cute and he looks just as cute with his new glasses.
We've gone over how to take care of them, when he can wear them and how his brothers are not allowed to touch them. I just hope they hold up for a while because glasses are expensive! He got them so that they get dark when outside to help turn them into sun glasses.
