Today I had my 2nd baby shower that was hosted by my friends Krista Stevenson, Nikki Hill and Tami Karakash. It was a beautiful shower with so many people! We had about 20 people come that were all friends mostly from the school. We played "Who Said It?" Everts Edition which was fun as well as a few other little games. I got so many gifts! Mostly clothes, lots of diapers since we had a diaper raffle, lots of books as well as bath tub toys and shampoos/body washes/wash cloths. It was such a fun day.
There was tons of food and desserts. They had a clothes line for decoration which doubled as a gift from Tami, banners, lanterns, flowers, tule, and all shades of pinks and purples. I am feeling so grateful for all the many gifts and the kindness shown by so many. This little girl has so much stuff!
I still do need a few more crib sheets, changing table pads, nursing bras and a car seat cover but I can buy those things with the gift cards and returning some things I got as doubles. Between all the gifts I've been given, I think its all worth at least $1,500. It's just amazing and I'm so humbled by everyones generosity. All the food was delicious, the decorations were adorable and the company was great. It's weird to think that now all I do is wait for her to come! I can't wait!
