Every year they have an Autism Speaks Walk to help raise money for Autism. My brother and his family have been doing it for a few years now and this year I was able to join them. Last year I was pregnant and didn't feel up to going. Since my niece, Violette, is Autistic, they go to support her. This year we wore blue and purple shirts. Blue for Autism and purple for Violette. It was at the Rose Bowl and we walked about 3 miles. It was an easy and fun walked. Fred stayed back with the boys because Caleb had soccer and I took Macie.
It didn't take long so after Lindsey, Justin and I went to lunch. It was nice to be out and hanging out with them. Then I just headed home. It was nice to see my brother and his family. I don't see them a lot. But most importantly I wanted to go and show my support. They have a busy life between their 2 kids and I'm just so glad our kids don't have any mental disabilities.
