Caleb's Animal Diorama

In 2nd grade, the kids do an animal diorama. Ethan did a penguin last year. This year, Caleb chose a Walrus. We had a lot of fun learning about walruses. They're so cute. The only thing that was hard was making the diorama interesting enough since they live in the arctic and it's pretty much water and ice. Kinda boring. So, we did the best we could. After searching 3 different stores for a walrus, we finally had to just order them online. I'm glad we started early enough or else we would have been doomed! He picked out the rocks that we made look like blocks of ice on the water. I added the goldfish for fun. He is very happy with it and I think it looks really cute. I got a few hot glue gun burns along the way but it's always worth it. He's very excited to show it off at Open House Night. He's such a good boy and student. I love this little guy with his glasses, muff hair and sweet toothy smile.
