We celebrated my grandpa's 88th birthday! My aunt and uncle from Tennessee came as well as some of my other aunts, uncles and cousins. My grandpa was finally able to meet Macie too. That was special. I can't believe he's doing so well for being 88, having leukemia, and only 1 kidney working at 40%. Sadly, the next day, Grandpa fell and broke his hip. He's had surgery and should recover with physical therapy. He's such a strong guy. I wish my family could talk to him but because he's deaf, it makes it difficult. I wish I could talk with him more! I love my grandpa so much. He's such a sweet, funny, loving guy. I hope we get to see him more this summer too. Happy Birthday, Grandpa! We love you!
