Macie turned 9 months while we were away on vacation. I can't believe she's 9 months old!
-She is 15lbs (6%)
-She is 27 1/4 inches long (31%)
-Her head circumference is 17 inches (30%)
-She is sitting alone very well and can go from the sitting position to crawling position easily.
- She is full on crawling everywhere and babbles/jabbers all the time.
-She has started to imitate our sounds.
-She says MaMa, DaDa, and shakes her head no when you tell her no.
-When I say "Ah!" when I'm feeding her, she opens her mouth and sometimes says "Ah!" too.
- She's starting to use a sippy cup but still prefers her bottle.
-She's had 2% milk and liked it.
- She isn't interested in her pacifier anymore (never really was all that much).
-Loves when her brothers play with her.
-Gives little hugs in the morning when you get her.
-Starting to use her pinchers grasp to grab baby puffs.
-Doesn't want any solids and only likes the baby puffs besides pureed food.
-She's starting to pull herself up onto things. When she gets to the standing position, she freaks out and doesn't know what to do. But mostly she climbs up just to her knees and is fine.
-Wants to stand.
-Grabs for toys.
-Loves electronics (especially remotes and the cameras on phones).
-She got her crib lowered.
-Naps 2x a day (starting to get shorter from 2 hours to 1.5 hours).
-Teething SO BAD this whole month but no teeth yet.
-Loves to touch Daddy's beard.
She is the best and we love her so much. I can't imagine life without her.
It was super hard to get her to stay still long enough for a picture so I ended up putting the TV on so she would stay still so not many pictures of her looking and smiling.
